African American Women Honored at the Capitol City Black Expo |

Continuing its rich tradition of honoring outstanding African American women, the Capital City BLACK EXPO will conduct its annual Women of Inspiration Awards Breakfast on Saturday, February 28 at 9:00 am.
The Breakfast, hosted by KCRA Channel 3 Reporter/Anchor Adrienne Bankert, will take place at the Sacramento Convention Center.
This year’s honorees include inspiring women who have displayed excellence and brilliance in education, healthcare, broadcasting, and civic engagement.
Ms. Darla Givens, Dr. Barbara J. Smith-Nash, Dr. Kathryn Jeffrey, Ms. Paula Nelson and Mrs. Cassandra Jennings are this year’s distinguished honorees.
