| 12:00pm | Official Grand Opening. Convention City Lobby-J Street Side. The Ribbon-Cutting ceremony will be held outside the Sacramento Convention Center at the J Street entrance, near the Convention Center Box Office. Featured at the event will be the spectacular Crenshaw Community Choir all the way from Southern California along with EXPO officials, major local and state elected officials, keysponsors and special guests. |
| 2:30pm | Glory Awards Presentation (Exhibit Hall D) Join BLACK EXPO and a host of others as we honor five of Northern California’s most outstanding spiritual leaders. This year’s honorees are Bishop Willa Kern, the Rev. Tyrone Hicks, the Rev. Robert Jones, the Rev. Darryl Heath and Bishop Albert Galbraith, Jr. The Glory Awards are being presented to these leaders as a way of saying “thank you” for their leadership and guidance. Read more... |
