Desmond Pringle

Desmond Pringle is one of Gospel music's most talented songwriters and producers. He is affectionately known as the "Gospel Balladeer," for his passionate vocal stylings, golden tenor tone, and unique brand of singing smooth ballads.

He began his musical journey in a lead role in the Gospel musical "A Good Man Is Hard To Find"  in 1992. His success continued to other musicals, as Pringle lent his talent to the casts of "Only The Strong" and "Paint The White House Black."

Soon, after moving to Chicago, Pringle began to work as a songwriter and collaborated with Bishop T.D. Jakes and Rev. Clay Evans. He also partnered with Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar, Bishop Paul Morton, and R. Kelly. Pringle can be heard backing up R. Kelly in the R&B hit "I Believe I Can Fly" and in Adam's 1996 release "Live in Washington." Recently, Pringle wrote and performed on Morton's radio hit "High Praise," which reached the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Gospel album sales chart.

When not creating and singing music, Pringle is a ordained minister and psalmist.
